The Biogenic Amines Working Party of the Australian
Association of Clinical Biochemists invites you to
participate in a pilot plasma free metanephrines External
Quality Assurance Program commencing in March 2008.
The material has been manufactured using L-isomers of
metanephrine and normetanephrine. The program consists of 12
lyophilized spiked samples. Two samples are to be analysed
monthly. The material will be supplied at no charge to
participants. As the material is limited, it will be
distributed on a first in basis. Please register now.
Results will be analysed by Royal College of Pathologists of
Australasia - Chemical Pathology Quality Assurance Group.
Summaries will be made available to participants on a
monthly basis.

The NSW QC Subcommittee of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists is running a pilot quality assurance program for faecal occult blood. We propose to send out samples in April 2011. There is no charge for participating. The material is lyophilized and consists of six samples.
